On Thurday afternoon Daniel and I went over to visit with Nicole (my SIL) and Dana (her mom). Nicole was 40 weeks and 6 days pregnant with my niece, Rachel. We had very patiently been awaiting her arrival and realized she was going to take her time just like her daddy, my brother John, did. We left there around 2:30pm because my dog niece, Sarah, peed on my lap! We got home and laid Daniel down for a nap. About 15 minutes later Nicole sent me a text saying she was experiencing signs of labor! Woo Hoo!! I was so excited. We were thinking she was going to have to be induced because she had not really progressed at all up until this point. Around 8pm or so they checked into the hospital and a little while later they admitted her. I rode with my mom up to the hospital and left Daniel with Brian. We got there at 9:30pm. We stayed all night and our beautiful niece was born at 6:42am Friday morning!

She weighs 6lbs 15oz and is 19 1/4 inches long. Nicole did wonderful through the birth and John is such a proud daddy!
