26 Weeks

How Far Along? 26 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss? Up 3 pounds from my last appointment! Still down 1 pound from my pre-pregnancy weight. I am 6 pounds lighter at this point than I was with Daniel.
Maternity clothes? Fitting better
Best moment this week? We finished painting Shiloh's room and I bought the letters for her wall and painted them. It is fun walking into a green and PINK room! There really is a girl coming! Also, a friend of mine had me over to go through her girls clothes. I got some really cute stuff for Shiloh to wear!
Belly Button? Still an innie but it's not quite as deep.
Measurements? 25 Weeks at this weeks appointment.
Movement? She is a mover! Her kicks are getting harder and harder!
Food Cravings? Cereal, Brownies, pizza
Gender? Team Pink
What I miss? drinking water without getting heartburn! lol
What I am looking forward to? Getting the ladders and tarps out of her room tomorrow so I can start hanging the clothes in her closet.
Milestones? Baby's soaking up your antibodies, getting her immune system ready for life outside the womb. Eyes are forming, and she'll soon be practicing the blink...perfect for batting those freshly grown lashes. The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.
Other notes? I had my appointment yesterday and everything with the baby went well. I had mentioned to my doctor that I had been having calf pain since Monday after waking up with a calf cramp. At the end of my appointment to told me that she wanted me to go the hospital to have it evaluated. Needless to say, I was shocked. She was worried I might have a blood clot and told me that a calf cramp should not last that long. So Brian met me at the ER yesterday and I had an ultrasound of my calf. 4 hours later we found out that, thank God, there is no blood clot! It looks like I just tore my muscle from the calf cramp.
